Climate Change - How do we know - Position of NASA

Why is NASA publishing this information about "Catastrophic man-made" climate change? They are a government agency, not an independent science institution. If they want to go back to the moon and get to Mars with their astronaughts, they may have to say things their employer is insisting on. All that NASA has to do is look around this beautiful world (photo above is Switzerland) to know that the climate is doing fine. Yes, atmospheric carbon dioxide has been rising. Yes, the world has gotten a little warmer. That is all well within the range of Earth's history. The most important question is: WHAT IS NEXT? It may be serious cooling. Without fossil fuels, NASA and the White House may be setting the world up for human tragedy of not having enough energy to adopt to real climate change.
