Swiss Info, Luigi Jorio: Banning construction of nuclear power plants and limiting to 45 years the use of existing ones. That’s what a people’s initiative from the Green Party, to be voted on in November, proposes. It has not been endorsed by the cabinet or by parliament. The Swiss voted to abandon nuclear power after the utilities and regulators provided very safe, clean nuclear power for Swiss citizens for more than 30 years. With media and anti-nuclear organizations accomplishing this, enemies of democracy, freedom and capitalism don't need to lift a finger to weaken the West. Voters are doing it for them.

Switzerland is a country of tremendous natural beautry and well run infrastructure due to plentiful energy from hydro-electric, imported fossil fuels and well run nuclear power. The Swiss have voted to abandon nuclear power based on misleading inforrmation from the media and anti-nuclear organizations. It can't be because of anything in the very well run Swiss nuclear power program. Enemies of North America and Europe are delighted to see the West turning against nuclear power. Those who pray, should do so. Those who want democracy, should workd to block the media and organizations that are causing voters to abandon what is very good for them.
