Michael Connolly, Ronan Connolly, Imelda Connolly, Willie Soon, Patrick Moore - Patrick has been a leader in the international environmental field for more than 30 years. He was a founding member of Greenpeace. In 1989, Michael and Imelda set up and ran the Republic of Ireland’s National Aquarium to promote awareness and interest in both the beauty and fragility of the ocean’s ecosystems. Michael and Ronan have both been actively involved in the research and development of ethical, sustainable and commercially viable methods for a) fish farming, b) reducing water pollution and c) energy conservation. Willie has dedicated his career to scientific research and has published peer-reviewed scientific papers in the fields of astronomy, astrophysics, climate science and environmentalism.

Euan Mearns, Geologist: I don’t think humans have the power to alter the climate. I’ve been especially doubtful of the claim that CO2 in the atmosphere is a significant regulator of the earth’s climate. Even If we believe that CO2 is part of earth’s greenhouse gas effect that is making it possible for us to be alive, the CO2 component of earth’s atmosphere is increasing at only about 1 part per 100,000 every 5 years. It will take at least 1,500 years for earth’s CO2 component to increase from the current 40 part per 100,000 to 100 parts per 100,000. That would be 0.10% instead of the current 0.040%.

Allan Macrae, mining and geotechnical engineer: “Climate science does not support the theory of catastrophic human-made global warming – the alleged warming crisis does not exist.” “The ultimate agenda of pro-Kyoto advocates is to eliminate fossil fuels, but this would result in a catastrophic shortfall in global energy supply – the wasteful, inefficient energy solutions proposed by Kyoto advocates simply cannot replace fossil fuels.” The global warming/climate change alarmists have a perfectly negative predictive track record, and thus perfectly negative credibility.

John Shanahan, civil engineer: Humanity has made tremendous strides over the last two centuries in energy, medical and other technologies – greatly improving living standards and life spans for billions of people. Meanwhile, far too many foundations and organizations, segments of the media and individuals have tried to prevent progress. They want to keep energy and mineral treasures in the ground and insist that nothing mankind does is safe enough.
