John Holdren, Science Advior to President Barack Obama: The essence of the energy-climate challenge: • Without energy there is no economy, • Without climate there is no environment, • Without economy and environment there is no material well-being, no civil society, no personal or national security The essence of the challenge is that the world has long been getting most of the energy its economies need in ways that are now seriously disrupting the climate its environment needs.

Kerry Sheridan, AFP: Dr. James Hansen addresses the topic of catastrophic man-made global warming. He considers it so urgent as to publish it before it is peer reviewed. He claims it is urgently necessary to tax fossil fuels (in the United States) and greatly reduce their use or (American) kids will suffer from man-made extremes in the climate/weather. Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy - USA presents their photographic evidence. People around the world, who depend on fossil fuels, disagree with Dr. Hansen about taxing and stopping use of fossil fuels.

James Hansen, former NASA scientist, considered the father of global awareness of man-made global warming, man-made climate change, man-made climate disruption: The title of this article says a lot, "The Planet Could Become Ungovernable." The premise that humans have ever in the past or present "governed" Earth's Climate is far from reality. The hypothesis that humans will govern Earth's Climate in the future is pure imagination. Like the fairy tale about children and parents of Hameln, Germany, a Rattenfaenger may lead the believing public away to a human controlled utopian climate on Earth. The poorer half of the world will have to go without fossil fuels and just suffer through it.

Paul Driessen, senior policy analyst for the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow, David Wojick, advisor for science and logic in public policy: Less than two years after boldly announcing that it would finance coal and natural gas electricity generation to build health and prosperity in Africa, the Africa Development Bank has flip-flopped. It has caved in to Western bank and radical environmentalist pressure and announced that, with few exceptions it will now support only wind and solar projects. This reversal will mean Africa will remain energy-deprived and impoverished – and millions of children and parents will continue to suffer and die needlessly every year from diseases of poverty. Africans have a fundamental human right to more than the few light bulbs, cell phone charging stations and one-cubic-foot refrigerators that can be supported by a wind turbine and solar panel economy. Eco-manslaughter at the hands of climate activists and banks must end.
