1 - What should government do to address climate change

The modern world is so fortunate to have fossil fuels and their by-products. We must not squander them on terribly inefficient or frivolous uses. Once fossil fuels are depleted, nuclear power will have to provide electricity and energy to manufactre synthetic liquid fuels (much more expensive). Or we can abandon fossil fuels, nuclear power and synthetic liquid fuels and go back to the Dark Ages like the alarmists demand.
