Climate change happens all the time. The major reasons for climate change are changes in the physics of the sun and solar system, horizontal movement of continents from the Equator halfway to the North Pole, and vertical movement of the land itself. This essay is an example of climate change on the plains east of the Rocky Mountain Range due to a near 5,000 foot, 1,524 meter rise in the land. The climate went from a shallow ocean with dinosaurs and alligators to high, semi-arid prairie, with buffalo and antelope.
