IAEA Radioisotopes and Radiopharmaceuticals Reports No. 2: Owing to the widespread availability of technetium-99m from fission production, alternative sources of supply from cyclotrons has been neglected. This report is an update of efforts to produce this important radiopharaceutical for diagnostic medicine in cyclotrons.
