Education in the United States has changed tremendously since the 1960s. Back then the focus was on quality education in all disciplines - President Kennedy set goals for getting to the moon and having plenty of reliable water supplies with the help of nuclear power. Since then high school and college education has deteriorated to disseminating special interest group, alarmist, and government doctrines, even doctrines from unfriendly nations.
