The world in 2024 is much more sensative to infrastructure loss than in WWI or WWII. A wide area loss of communication cables, electrical cables, pipelines, electric generating facilities or critical bridges would destroy life as we know it and very quickly throw us back to living standards before 1800. Unimaginable suffering and death but easily possible today.
No single country is working effectively to avoid this catastrophy. Not enough global institutions are. The Schiller Intitute is!
