Beautiful French countryside due in part to atmospheric carbon dioxide. Many scientists, engineers, and the general public in France are convinced that carbon dioxide from fossil fuels is causing catastrophic man-made global warming. They want the world to stop using fossil fuels in the next few decades. It cant be done without destroying modern living and casting the world back to the Dark Ages.
