Three things happen in the atmosphere: 1) incoming solar energy. Departing infrared energy. 2) weather-climate, 3) nature's art show, the aurora borealis. All of this is a marvel of nature. We should never let global warming alarmists in government, schools, the media and non-profits cause us to think otherwise.
