A global static mean surface temperature for a rotating, orbiting, tilted axis planet with vast oceans and tremendous freshwater cycle, and huge currents in the oceans and atmosphere, and with a Coriolis effect due to gravity and the spherical shape of the planet can be calculated, but it is meaningless when talking about weather and climate that varies all over, all the time! So called climate studies based on a static, global mean surface temperature have no value in the real world of the Blue Marble. planet.
