THE ESCALATION OF THE WAR ON CO2 - PART 1 of 3

2021

Thorpe Watson, Ph.D. Metallurgical Engineering: Carbon dioxide ("CO2") is as important as oxygen, water, and sunlight in sustaining life on the planet. It is stored primarily in the oceans with 2% circulating through the atmosphere as a colourless. odourless, trace gas. A most disturbing trend suggests that we are approaching the end of the Earth's 'green period', which started about 2 billion years ago. To make matters much worse, government leaders in North America and Europe and extreme environmentalist organizations are planning on forcing the world to extract CO2 from the atmosphere and sequester it forever. But that is doomed to failure. The oceans would just off-gas more CO2. Are the free world's leaders so poorly informed?
