World Nuclear Association: 2015: Nuclear societies representing scientists, engineers, and professionals from around the world, signed this declaration stating their conviction that the world needs to take immediate steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supporting nuclear energy as a key part of the solution in the fight against climate change.

Mother Nature will have the final say whether carbon dioxide from fossil fuels is causing catastrophic man-made global warming and disastrous sea level rise. There are numerous scientific publications, many posted on this website, that say that mankind's carbon dioxide contribution to the total carbon dioxide which is itself a lesser contributor to all the greenhouse gases is not and will not be the cause of catastrophic global warming. We recommend that nuclear experts and nuclear advocates support nuclear energy solely on its own merits. There is no need for nuclear experts to be attacking fossil fuels because of the carbon dioxide they produce. Fossil fuels play a vital role in the modern world and there are few if any replacement technologies at anywhere near the same cost.

As explained in the article below, an indispensable component of the scientific method has been IGNORED by research that underpins man-made global warming theory. That indispensable component is known as the Null Hypothesis.

S. Fred Singer, Ph.D. in physics is an atmospheric and space physicist. He founded the Science and Environmental Policy Project (SEPP) and the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC). He served as professor of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia (1971–94). In his State-of-the-Union address, president Obama again confirmed that “saving the climate” remains one of his top priorities.

Alan Caruba, a CFACT adjunct policy analyst: Describing the role of the Sun, Australian geologist, Ian Plimer, said, “There is a big thermonuclear reactor in the sky that emits huge amounts of energy to the Earth…The Sun provides the energy for photosynthesis. The Sun is the bringer of life to Earth. If the Sun were more energetic the oceans would boil. If the Sun were less energetic the oceans would freeze and all life on Earth would be destroyed.” We don’t control the Sun. Or the climate. It controls us. Consider that the Sun has a diameter of 865,000 miles. The Earth’s diameter is 7,917.5 miles. Thus, the Sun’s diameter is 109 times greater than the Earth’s. Carbon dioxide is barely .04% of the Earth’s atmosphere. Reducing it as the U.S.-China agreement proposes would have zero effect on the Earth’s climate.

Harold Doiron, Ph.D. Chairman, The Right Climate Stuff Research Team (Retired NASA scientists and engineers): A global warming problem does not exist at the present time. There is only a concern that burning fossil fuels may cause harmful temperatures. Potential problems require monitoring, study and contingency plan development. Equilibrium climate snsitivity is not an appropriate climate sensitivity metric for regulatory decisions. Low climate sensitivity and reasonable emissions scenarios lower the Anthropogenic Global Warming threat.

Patrick Moore is the Chair of the Energy, Ecology and Prosperity program at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. He has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 40 years. Dr. Moore is a Co-Founder of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International. The pH of the world’s oceans varies from 7.5 to 8.3, well into the alkaline scale. It is therefore incorrect to state the oceans are acidic or that they will become acidic under any conceivable scenario. The term “acidification” is used to imply that the oceans will actually become acidic. It is perhaps just short of propaganda to use the language in this manner.

Sherwood Idso, Keith Idso, Craig Idso - There is considerable current concern that the ongoing rise in the air's CO2 content is causing a significant drop in the pH of the world's oceans in response to their absorption of a large fraction of each year's anthropogenic CO2 emissions. In light of these diverse and independent assessments of the two major aspects of the ocean acidification hypothesis -- a CO2-induced decline in oceanic pH that leads to a concomitant decrease in coral growth rate -- it would appear that the catastrophe conjured up by the world's climate alarmists is but a wonderful work of fiction.

If we’re holding out hope of limiting the warming of the globe to below 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial temperatures, often cited as the threshold where “dangerous” warming begins.

Tom Harris, executive director of the Ottawa, Canada-based International Climate Science Coalition: Ontario’s plans to reduce plant food, CO2, would kill jobs and do nothing to control Earth’s climate.

His essay in 2016 discusses actions by Greenpeace and the Sierra Club decrying the "ugliness" of civilization. These organizations seem to think that things were better in pre-industrial times or modern-day central Africa..

Barack Obama, President of the United States: A sweeping global agreement to combat climate change by shifting the world economy away from fossil fuels will take force next month after passing a threshold for ratification on Wednesday with support from European nations. President Obama, speaking from the Rose Garden, called the "Paris Agreement" potentially a "turning point" for our planet. "This gives us the best possible shot to save the one planet we've got," Obama said.

Calvin Beisner, Founder and National Spokesman of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation,“The ‘commitments’ made in the Paris agreement are voluntary and unenforceable, which means most nations will not comply. EU nations said they would make binding commitments only if all major emitters did—and they didn’t.”

China and India, the #1 and #3 CO2 emitting nations, plan for their emissions to continue rising at least until 2030, and reductions even in rate of growth later will depend on whether they can be made without slowing their rise out of poverty. Other developing countries’ “commitments” are similar.

F. Ward Whicker, Emeritus Professor in Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences, Colorado State University. He has spent a lifetime out in the mountains of Colorado year round and also out in nature around the world. He presents his observations about changes in climate and ecosystems with conclusions that these changes are due to CO2 from use of fossil fuels.

Andrew Kenny, nuclear engineer, provides a very interesting and easy to read report on the question of what influence the use of fossil fuels and CO2 they produce have on Earth's climate. Fossil fuels have brought immeasurable benefits to people in the First World and some benefits to people in the Second World. The Third World is mostly still waiting to reap these benefits. People hear alarms about CO2 from fossil fuel from the President of the United States, Barack Obama, and the Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, etc. To stop use of fossil fuels would be disastrous. Andrew Kenny's article is very worth reading.
