Tom Harris: October, 2016 - Leonardo DiCaprio is releasing a new climate change movie. "Before the Flood" will debut on the National Geographic Channel. It will also be available for free on YouTube. Before the Flood is based on the highly debatable hypothesis that carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from human activities are causing catastrophic climate change. Coal, oil, and natural gas, the world’s least expensive and most abundant energy sources, must therefore be turned off as soon as possible, DiCaprio says.
Bill Clinton, President of the United States 1993 - 2001: "The greatest environmental challenge of the new century is global warming…If we fail to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, deadly heat waves and droughts will become more frequent, coastal areas will flood, and economies will be disrupted.
M. Ragheb in Global Climate Variation, Change and Energy Use, 2019 on pages 16 and 17, he spells out clearly the natural sources of CO2 and man’s contribution. Of the 186 billion tones of CO2 entering the atmosphere annually, 180 billion tones come from nature and 6 billion tones are man’s contribution. My simple math says 6 divided by 186 is 3%.
The IPCC in its own research produces a similar finding in a published graph “Global Natural and Anthropogenic Sources and Absorption of Greenhouse Gasses in the 1990’s”, finding, CO2 from natural causes is 793 billion tones, Man-Made sources is 23 billion tones. 23 divided by 793 is 2.9%.
This ratio of Natural CO2 versus Man-Made CO2 is never brought forward mathematically, in context, in any discussions of the causes for Climate Change. This is not any kind of conspiracy; it is quite simply strong assumptions. If you track the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere it follows exactly with the burning of fossil fuels since the beginning of the Industrial revolution and the selling of coal fired steam engines. Also, it corresponds directly with proven increases in Global temperatures. You put 2 and 2 together you get 4 . . . a no brainer. Unless you go back in time and compare previous cycles of Climate Change on Planet Earth. You find NO correlation between Global Warming and CO2 going back at least 10,000 years.

Thorpe Watson, Ph.D. in Physical Metallurgy & Science of Materials. Thirty five year career covering wide range of science disciplines plus 10 year investigation of the climate controversy: We have been told that the carbon dioxide (“CO2”) generated by the consumption of hydrocarbon fuels will cause runaway warming. Our only salvation is to embrace a carbon-free economy or pay indulgences (aka “carbon tax”). How a tax will ward off such a serious threat defies any rational explanation. It is absurd to believe that a carbon-free economy will stabilize the planet's ever-changing climate. However, a carbon-free economy will devastate modern lifestyles.
President Barack Obama, John Holdren, Director of Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology - The White House said that heat wave deaths in the U.S. could worsen by 2030 due to climate change, killing over 10,000 in a single summer. John Holdren, Obama's senior science adviser, said steps the world agreed to in Paris last year to curb emissions through 2030 can help fight the risks to health. "We will need a big encore after 2030... in order to avoid the bulk of the worst impacts described in this report," he said.
Ed Berry, PhD in Physics with a focus on atmospheric physics. Dr. Berry’s theoretical PhD thesis is recognized as a breakthrough in the science of rain formation and in the use of computer-based numerical models: According to the scientific method, it is impossible to prove a theory is right. But climate alarmists ignore the scientific method and simply BELIEVE their theory is right. They don’t have time for some stinkin’ proof they are wrong. This post is “stinkin’ proof” they are wrong. Yes, Virginia, it IS possible to prove a theory is wrong. Read to see how it is done.
Friends of the Earth: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) releases updates on the latest climate change science . There is over 95% certainty that human influence is the dominant factor in warming since the mid 20th century. To put this into perspective – scientists are as certain that humans are warming the planet as they are that smoking causes cancer. There isn't a safe temperature rise. Each degree of warming will bring more extreme weather and sea level rises.
Every recent study describing Climate Change has failed to look back at these 5 Warming Periods before 1750. This all happened during our current Inter-Glacial Period on Planet Earth. The Roman Warming Period and The Middle Ages Warming Period must be used and compared to the current 20ieth Century Warming Period. This is only looking back to the times of Anthony and Cleopatra or to the years of Henry the Eighth and Charlemagne. It's not some intentional distraction with Dinosaurs and Early Creation. In planetary terms, this is just looking back to Yesterday Afternoon, in Planet Earth’s long and dynamic History . . . Failure to do so is a Scientific Travesty . . . that MUST be Corrected!
We must learn from History - NOT push it under the rug out of site, out of mind . . .
However, climate change and CO2 have Never followed one another in link step . . . Scientifically, or Naturally. The warmer Planet Earth gets the more the Oceans and Glaciers release CO2 and forests and vegetation keep it in balance. In an effort to clean up the planet we must separate CO2 from Climate Change. Concentrate instead on cleaning up the pollution attached to CO2 if we are to save the planet from extinction. Remove the Sulphur Dioxide, Methane, Carbon Monoxide, Soot and Ash using existing technology . . . Please!

Washington Post, Ben Guarino, Brady Dennis: Climate change significantly imperils public health globally, according to a new report that chronicles the many hazards and symptoms already being seen. The authors describe its manifestations as “unequivocal and potentially irreversible.” This is similar to what John Holdren, Science Advisor to President Obama says. See Holdren's 100 slide PowerPoint Presentation on this website: "Climate Science & Technology," September 2017, Full title: "The Climate-Change Challenge Today: The Science and the Technological Options."
James Hansen former NASA scientist, considered the father of catastrophic man-made global warming awareness, Robert Hargraves, physicist, leader for thorium energy and scientist-advocate for fossil fuel caused global warming: Climate has always been changing, but humans are now the principal driver of climate change, overwhelming natural climate variability. Rising atmospheric CO2 levels, primarily a result of fossil fuel emissions, have become the predominate cause of continuing climate change. Increasing CO2 is now responsible for about 80 percent of the annual increase in climate forcing by greenhouse gases. Climate science shows unambiguously that global fossil fuel emissions must decrease rapidly over the next few decades, if we are to avoid climate calamities. The Paris Agreement. Negotiators seemed optimistic, even self-congratulatory, upon reaching the 2015 Paris Agreement. But the truth is that the accord does little to change the world’s energy and climate trajectory.

Sebastian Luening, paleogeologist: In the Baltic Sea region, there have been demonstrable major climatic fluctuations over the last 1000 years. Warm and colder periods alternated, with major consequences for the lives of plants, animals and humans. During the "medieval warm period" between 950 and 1250 AD, the northern hemisphere, including the Baltic Sea region, had higher-than-average temperatures compared to the periods before and after. The summer of 2018 experienced warmer than normal temperatures in the Baltic region, making it difficult for those used to air conditioning in the United States to sleep without this convenience after a day of bicycling in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Is this due to man's use of fossil fuels? This paleogeologist shows similar warm periods over the last 1000 years.
No global problem has ever been more exaggerated than climate change. As it has gone from being an obscure scientific question to a theme in popular culture, we’ve lost all sense of perspective.
David Henderson, John Cochrane, Wall Street Journal: Climate change is often misunderstood as a package deal: If global warming is “real,” both sides of the debate seem to assume, the climate lobby’s policy agenda follows inexorably. It does not. Climate policy advocates need to do a much better job of quantitatively analyzing economic costs and the actual, rather than symbolic, benefits of their policies. Skeptics would also do well to focus more attention on economic and policy analysis. To arrive at a wise policy response, we first need to consider how much economic damage climate change will do. Current models struggle to come up with economic costs consummate with apocalyptic political rhetoric. Typical costs are well below 10% of gross domestic product in the year 2100 and beyond.
Steven Chu, U.S. Secretary of Eergy and Nobel Laureate: Climate change is real, and it’s happening now. “There is compelling evidence that Earth’s climate is changing and humans are responsible for it. We only have one chance at correcting it and we have to do it,” Chu presented decades of satellite data that show how human activities are affecting the global climate pattern. “Glacier melting is accelerating and the sea level is rising,” The good news is that new technological solutions are being developed in the area of air filtration using HEPA filters and novel techniques that trap particles using electric charge. He predicts the price of solar-generated electricity will continue to drop from 3 cents per kilowatt-hour in 2020 to 2 cents per kWh by 2035 or 2040.
Jones and Company in South Africa presents an excellent interview exposing lies of man-made climate change alarmists.
Armstrong Economics: In your view will the next decade be a minor cold blip or “OMG we’re all going to freeze to death and run out of food ?” The answer is yes, we may be facing below normal temperatures leading to food shortages, health issues, and more unrest! The worst may come during the 2020-2024 period.
Heartland Institute: The most consequential issues in the climate change debate are “whether the warming since 1950 has been dominated by human causes, how much the planet will warm in the 21st century, whether warming is ‘dangerous,’ whether we can afford to radically reduce CO2 emissions, and whether reduction will improve the climate” (Curry, 2015). Fossil fuels have benefited humanity by making possible the prosperity that occurred since the first Industrial Revolution, which made possible investments in goods and services that are essential to protecting human health and prolonging human life. Fossil fuels powered the technologies that reduced the environmental impact of a growing human population, saving space for wildlife.
